[BC] lpfm question

Actually in Richmond, VA., last I knew there was a FM station operating
into an old RCA super-turnstile, formally on channel 6. This was
long after most of the country went circularly polarized.

why not use a batwing / superturnstile antenna?

Seems like they're within a dB or so of true omni, and are definitely 
broadband enough if constructed right (I mean, if they handle an entire 
6 MHz TV channel with reasonable flatness...)
