[BC] lpfm question

I got to hook my 2 meter walkie into a channel 7 super turnstyle atop an
almost 1100 foot tower. I needed to put a can in front of the walkie becasue
there was so much stuff coming in. With 2 watts, I was keying up every
repeater within a 100 mile radius-and I also worked simplex over 150 miles.

Actually in Richmond, VA., last I knew there was a FM station operating
into an old RCA super-turnstile, formally on channel 6. This was
long after most of the country went circularly polarized.
