[BC] High Gain vs Low Gain Antennas

Richard Fry is absolutely correct when he states (and let me paraphrase)
natural (tower re-radiation) null fill makes predictions of nulls in the
vertical plane impossible and most of the time they do not exist. There
might be some minima's but nothing approaching zero. The theory behind
the predictions is based on an antenna fed with imaginary transmission
line (non conductive at least) suspended in mid air. It is not
reality. Think about it, how can the theoretical values be close to
reality? With a vertical parasite (the transmission line) immediately
behind the antenna then immediately behind that are a variety of
parasites consisting of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal. The
interaction / re-radiation is substantial. You truly have to see it to
believe it.
