[BC] High Gain vs Low Gain Antennas

Willie,

I worked on a C2 FM with 5 bays that had a constant dead spot 1.5 miles
from the tower. The dead spot fell over a few houses and was noticeable
to me because it also fell over the road home.

A third of the tower and all antenna bays were visible from the dead
spot. The station didn't completely disappear but would always blend to
mono and sometimes be so noisy as to be unlistenable. In ducting
conditions, any other co-channel signal would always be perfectly audible.
