I've actually had some communication with WATO's new owner, Ann Walden. She
is quite the pleasant woman, seems to pretty intelligent and has a good plan
in place for WATO's with regards to the stations immediate future along with
a plan for WATO's format along with how she wants the station to be a part
of the area.
She doesn't have any broadcasting expierience, but will be working on
assembling a term not too long from now.
An STA was filed on 2/19/2009 and accepted/granted on the same date for a 6
month period to allow WATO to operate with with 1KW Day/500W night from 2
towers. Not from the current site, but from a site about 4 miles south of
the current one that used to belong to another station but doesnt anymore
and is unused.
