Bolt together parts of a lot of trees. They're natural. They're strong.
Thousands of rail companies can't be wrong.
(Didn't know I was a poet, -now I know-it.)
Calling 'em "vertical trestles" may get around a lot of rules, incl.
lighting. Woodpeckers could be a problem...

How about a thousand..... We paid a visit to the Yosemite sequoia's two
years ago and the taller ones were over a thousand years old.
