They won't find that fact out until after it's all been ripped out.  
Even with the copper tarred, they'll still get about 25-30% of bare scrap.  So they might get $1/lb as opposed to $3.Still, the damage has been done no matter the devaluing and you still need to repair.

This last incident occurred is in an area of Joliet which isn't very nice and is somewhat set back behind a stand of trees.  It is not a nice location.  It's actually a very poor location for a tower of any function let alone an AM site.
