 You are right that it was, however, it was Eric Stromstead of MA-COM
fame that did the path and speced the gear. He was also the one that
rode the hot-seat once it was known as a failure! Shame, in hindsight, that
so many things and personalities could have been in such conflict to doom
a potential success. Remember the newspaper reporter that had such a poor
voice and delivery for the "local" news? No names here. Do you remember when
I lost the remote trailer coming back from the Sunday bowling remotes with the guy
in the trailer? That was a real snot blowin' story, even today. Well worth a three day
suspension! I can get people to wet themselves when I tell that one.
