That sounds like a McIntosh Labs amplifier.  I had one of the
lower power amplifiers (MC-240) which I sold for more than
I originally paid for it.  I still have my McIntosh MR-67
FM tuner.

McIntosh tube amplifiers are highly valued these days.
I've seen them sell for ten times their original price,
depending upon the model.
