At a previous gig I had, the PD couldn't decide what the message on his RDS
encoder would display.  Even that came from "corporate".  I was a PD for a
VERY short time at the little AM daytimer I started at.  The GM took me in
the control room and said "it's yours, don't screw it up".  I had to figure
out rotations, music schedules, jock schedules and was successful at getting
some syndicated programming.  It's something I'd never want to do again,
I'll just stick with engineering for now.
