[BC] Enforcing copyrights

Most of the Patriot Act was just made permanent. Even in the passion just
after 9/11, Congress had the common sense to sunset much of it's power to rob
citizens of most of their liberties. I guess a 'more sane' Congress thinks
it's a good idea to simply toss them in the trash forever!

The parallels between America in the new millennium and Germany in the late
1920's are simply stunning.

Today I am ashamed to be an American, and frankly I never thought that day
would ever come.

60 Minutes did a piece in bounty hunters who were allowed to do
whatever they wanted. The had far more "authority" to break into your
house than any police agency. Of course, that was before the Patriot
Act. Now it seems all you have to do is say you're looking for
terrorists and any of us can go anywhere.
