Cool. A number of years ago, we ended up getting rid of some really old junk.
No, this wasn't junque, it was *junk*. Stuff that had been stored in the
crawlspace below the TX building, with a sand floor. Rust and corrosion were all
that was left of the stuff we threw away. What little was salvageable we sold
to collectors.
In your "A" pic, I recognize that cart machine. We have one just like it...
and it's sitting on a shelf, too. <g>
I also see what looks like a CB rig. If it uses a PLL02A chip, all you have
to do is ground a pin (it is usually left floating- I forget which pin it is,
(it's on the side away from the channel switch) to put the rig up onto 10
meters. It's actually a pretty amazing little chip! That pin sets the chip from
10Khz steps to 5. In doing that, it also drastically changes the frequency,
usually ending up well into the 10 meter band. A little tweaking, and you're done.
