If they couldn't sell it where did the $34 million come from? Network 
inventory sure wouldn't bring that income.

I don't recall anyone daring to challenge the strength of WCBS-FM 
directly. They knew it would take forever to come close to them. A 
few stations added token oldies. They probably figure the lower share 
with a lower demo can be sold in combination with the older demos of 
WINS and WCBS-AM and bring to total age down a bit.
