[BC] STA Engineering

WLVF FM, (NCE owned by Landmark Baptist Church) Haines City,
FL, has moved their transmitter from a "cell tower" couple
of miles out of town to the top of a 12 story building downtown.

They have two bays at the elevator shaft on some Rohn 45.

Curiously, there is no engineering showing for this location
on the FCC's CDBS FM database. I realize the CDBS is not
absolutely official and this may be an example of that,
however with Channel Six interference issues, as well as
ANSI issues (the bldg is a college now) and, as a co-channel
neighbor, (WEJF, Palm Bay), I'd like to know what's going
on. So would a Catholic owned station in Tampa on 90.5
which has tried to purchase WLVF FM just to shut them off air.

1) STA's (i.e. do to loss of tower site) don't get their
engineering filed in the same manner as regular Form 340's

2) They have made the move without authority, scary as that
sounds.

Counsel told me to pay a visit to the proverbial public
file. Look and inquire about the authority.

Ok, but I wondered if the forum readers have experienced a
situation with STA and noticed the engineering was treated
differently: as in, not made public.
