Oh, my goodness - I've struck the MotherLode!!!!!!!

Reading that reminded me that I had a copy of the 1949 'NAB Engineering
Handbook' that I pulled from the trash at CBS, NY.  I just found it on my
bookshelf and along with it I also have a copy of the IRE's 'Directionl
Antennas by Carl E.  Smith, EE' from 1946 published by CIE.
