While we are on the public file issue, what heinous offense did Purdue U. do to get WBAA/WBAA FM licenses cancelled? (today's daily digest 13/June)

(BTW, I agree with Larry Fuss on this.  The big outfits can create a gold-plated public file without much impact on the bottom line.  If you have hundreds of stations doesn't take much to hire a secretary and assign her the task of going cluster to cluster to keep the records in place.  For us small fry, it's a real pain in the neck. But then, that's why the guvmint likes consolidation. They create new demands for apperwork , the big companies produce more reams of paperwork, and everyone looks busy without ever accomplishing anything usefull.)
