[BC] SS32 Auto Download of Weather from FTP, Convert Issues

For the past week I have been downloading a weather forecast in MP3 form
using software from RadioSpiders.com, it converts it to a 44100 Wav, and
places it in the network directory...  I'm having issues in the fact that
sometimes rather than overwriting the original file, it actually appends
itself to the current file with the new audio in front of the old.

What am I doing wrong, and is there a better way?

Also, the overnight forecast, same file type and sampling, froze up both
systems...  I re-booted, started SS32 and it froze immediately...  Deleted
the mp3 temp and the converted wav and it started great.  The new forecast
that I downloaded worked fine.

Any thoughts, has someone already tackled this problem?
